A Carson Container for Every Job
15 Yard
Coming in as the smaller of our containers, the 15-yard dumpster is perfect for smaller renovation jobs such as bathroom remodels or for cleaning up a stuffy garage. At 12 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 4 feet high, it won’t take up too much space in a driveway, but still is large enough to handle a sizable amount of material.
40 Yard
Sometimes you’ve got a situation, maybe a hoarder house cleanup or large demolition project, where you need to bring out something a little bigger—that’s where the 40-yard container comes in. It’s not a great fit for a lot of residential areas due to its size, but the 40-yard can be handy when you’ve got a lot of material to dispose of from a jobsite. At 8 feet high, 22 feet long and 8 feet wide, this is the largest of our containers.
Home Projects and Cleanups
If you’re a homeowner looking to start a remodel project, then Carson is still your one-stop shop for dumpsters and portables. Construction may be in our name, but that includes residential renovations and home projects. No matter the size of your new makeover or remodel, our containers can handle the job. They also fit easily into most standard driveways, so there is no barrier to getting a Carson container at your home!
With residential projects, something else will always pop up to toss out. Our dumpsters can handle a wide range of material—trash, construction, and yard debris—but there are a few common, non-disposable items to watch out for. Appliances, chemicals, tires and mattresses are all no-goes at the landfill, but we can still offer suggestions so you can find ways to dispose of these troublemakers if you give us a cal

Carson’s Commandments
Renting a dumpster doesn’t come without responsibility, there are a few key rules to remember!
Be prepared for delivery! If the driver arrives and is unable to deliver the dumpster due to a locked gate, obstruction, delayed response, or other issue, then a dry-run may be applicable.
Our roll-offs can’t be used to dispose of any appliances like washers, dryers and also no mattresses, engines, large electronics, chemicals or paint cans. The landfill won’t take them, so neither can we.
Carson containers can handle a lot of weight but pure weight isn’t the only issue when loading a dumpster. Make sure nothing is sticking above the rim of the container so when it comes time to remove the container we can lower a tarp across the top and secure the debris inside.
FAQs
If it’s your first time getting a dumpster, then we’re happy to provide some tips. Perhaps most important is what type of material you’re disposing inside the dumpster. Heavier items like shingles can’t completely fill the container. For compact materials like these it’s safer to fill to only around 2/3rds of the container. Also, don’t fill above the rim of the container, regardless of the type of the debris. It must be level and compact with the top so we can tarp the container and safely transport it to the landfill.
Carson Construction Containers will be at your side until you are finished with your project. If your container fills up quicker than you anticipated, we can always swap out your dumpster and replace it with an empty dumpster. Our roll-offs come with a fill line near the top to show where to stop loading. If you can see you’re getting close to filling a container and know you need another one, give us a call and let us know! We will get you on schedule and another container out as soon as we can, but any heads up you can give us is helpful.
When you’re done with your container, give us a call and we will schedule your dumpster for a final pickup. Remember, we don’t automatically come and retrieve the container, we need you to notify us with a phone call.
Making sure you have an adequate space for a large metal roll-off dumpster is an essential part of preparing for your rental. Our trucks require around fourteen feet of horizontal clearance to maneuver into a site or driveway. If you have any hanging power lines, tree branches or other vertical obstacles, please inform us so we can warn our driver to be on the lookout. When offloading a dumpster from a rolloff dumpster, the container rises upwards before sliding off the back of the truck and onto the drop location. Make sure you have a suitable spot for the dumpster—either gravel, concrete or compact dirt are suitable foundations for a dumpster.
The Carson Commitment
Carson treats your job like it’s our job—because it is. We keep our rental process straightforward, and geared to get you and your project going, not stalling out on logistics. Whether it’s pricing, sizing, placement or scheduling, we can handle it all for you with a simple call. Other companies might rent the same roll-offs, but they can’t match the Carson commitment to excellence.
